This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly motivated team, in the delivery of high quality academic provision. You will have a key role supporting the organisation, design and delivery of our Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) programmes. The programme is also an integral part of our Advanced Practice programme and you will be working closely with this and our community specialist practice teams. 

This is an exciting time in the field of non-medical prescribing and our dynamic and contemporary programmes of study are designed to ensure that the growing number of health care practitioners granted legal prescribing status are fully prepared for this key role of being safe and effective prescribers in practice. We are particularly keen to hear from experienced health care professionals - AHPs, nurses and pharmacists who wish to be instrumental in developing and supporting future practitioners in the advancement of their careers.

Educated to master’s level or above, you will have excellent communication skills and will demonstrate enthusiasm for practice based learning, teaching and assessment alongside a passion for student success. 

Ideally with prior teaching experience, you will demonstrate a willingness to use a range of innovative technologies and strategies in the support and provision of high quality learning opportunities. For those without a formal teaching qualification, support will be  available to obtain Higher Education Academy accreditation.  

You must hold current professional registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body and have a recorded independent prescribing qualification. You will develop positive working relationships with NHS and other partners, to ensure that the Institute is proactive in meeting contemporary agendas and workforce development needs, especially in relation to NMP.
