The Institute of Business, Industry & Leadership was created in 2019 to bring together the University’s programmes in Business and Law, Leadership, Project Management, Tourism Management and Policing and Criminology, and provides education including Degree Apprenticeships, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, CPD courses and professional qualifications, and research and consultancy across these areas.
The Employer Engagement and Professional Development Team (EEPD) support academic areas within the Institute to maximise their recruitment and income generation; manage the delivery of CPD courses and other related external services to organisations; and establish and maintain relationships with a range of employers on behalf of the Institute. The team includes staff focusing on employer engagement and business development; professional development services, and operations.
This post supports two aspects of the Institute’s work – quality management in relation to courses, and employer satisfaction. You will maintain and develop systems to monitor the quality of our courses, and to support a continuous improvement programme. You will also implement systems to produce timely and accurate reports to employers on the performance of their students, and will support customer relationship management.
You will have experience of working with quality systems, with some experience of developing and implementing new processes. You will be confident working with corporate information systems to extract data and create reports, comfortable working with a range of external clients and stakeholders and with administrative and academic staff, and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role in line with business need.
Interviews are scheduled for 27th and possibly 31st January.
