Teaching Associates

The multi-award winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years.

Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.

We are looking to engage professionals to contribute as Teaching Associates across our teaching portfolio. Teaching Associates play a key role in both covering for temporary absences and providing specialist input in modules.

Please register your interest by completing the on-line application form, which will request information about your preferences in relation to working pattern, location and academic specialism.

Once you are registered, your details will be available to Programme and Module Leaders who will be able to contact you directly to discuss periods of work.

Regrettably we are unable to guarantee periods of work through the Teaching Associate route.

We encourage applications from the broadest range of society, including all under-represented groups with particular emphasis on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates, who are currently under-represented in our University and in comparison, to the sector.
