We are the University of Cumbria, a place where people are at the heart of all we do, where enriching the lives of our students, staff and the communities we serve means we make a difference that really matters.

The University of Cumbria Project Academy is considered an industry leader in the delivery of project management education and qualifications. Now in its fifth year, the Project Academy is leading the way for West Cumbria becoming a centre of excellence for project management education.

Following the ongoing expansion of the University of Cumbria Project Academy our programme of short courses is growing, with increases in the portfolio of courses, frequency of delivery, and geographical coverage.

We work collaboratively with key employers and delivery partners across private, public and third sectors - this ranges from nuclear to health, construction and Local Government. We develop, deliver and support a comprehensive and progressive pathway of: education, training, professionally accredited qualifications, personal and team development.

We are currently focused on growing our team, and are looking to strengthen and expand our pool of trainers and tutors to support the delivery of our rapidly growing CPD and professional courses in project management. Our current focus is on delivering this portfolio, but there may also be opportunities to develop new courses to add to our offering.

Do you have proven expertise in Project Management as a practitioner or trainer? Are you interested in enhancing the University of Cumbria’s ongoing work with industry partners?  If so, we would like to hear from you.
