We are the University of Cumbria, a place where people are at the heart of all we do, where enriching the lives of our students, staff and the communities we serve means we make a difference that really matters.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
The Quality Assurance Officer will join an established professional service team whose remit is to support the effective implementation of quality assurance systems and processes. Work will include supporting validation and periodic review, external examiner appointments, annual monitoring processes, other internal evaluation processes, and supporting PSRB visits. The successful candidate will need excellent communications skills, work well independently as well as part of a team, be skilled in the use of IT packages and be able to work well under pressure, often to competing deadlines.
Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role in line with business need.
