Are you looking for an exciting opportunity within our newly established Medical School?
Imperial College London and University of Cumbria have formed a partnership to open a new medical school to develop and deliver the Cumbria School of Medicine. The first students start a bespoke 4-year post graduate MBBS programme in 2025/26. Applying Imperial’s expertise in medical education and University of Cumbria’s experience in training nurses, midwives and other professions allied to medicine, we aim to produce doctors who are embedded in their local community ready to contribute to services across the region and beyond.
As the CSM Executive Assistant you support the Head of School and Head of Operations, and work in collaboration with colleagues and partners across the University of Cumbria, Imperial College London and the NHS, supporting the administration of the School.
This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape the delivery of this unique Medical School.
Whilst this is a full-time role, a part-time appointment based on 0.8 FTE maybe available.
Hybrid working arrangements are supported for this role in line with business need.
Informal enquiries: Professor Mary Morrell, Head of School and Professor of Sleep & Respiratory Physiology at m.morrell@imperial.ac.uk
We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, 35 hour working week, 33 days holiday plus bank holidays, excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution, hybrid working in line with business need and corporate discounts to name a few.
