Healthcare Technician (0.6FTE)

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity supporting teaching within our health and psychology programmes?  

As our grade 5 Healthcare Technician, you will provide technical support for the undergraduate and post graduate programmes across all healthcare disciplines, in conjunction with the Grade 6 specialist technician supporting the Psychology team. You will have a sound knowledge of healthcare environments, preferably within a Higher Education environment. You will be involved in supporting the practical delivery of teaching activities within our psychology and healthcare programmes, which would include setting up and clearing down practical sessions, booking out and setting up cameras, uploading student assessments onto a SharePoint Portal, supporting in lectures and supporting students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.  

With excellent communication skills, you will collaborate with colleagues across the university to support recruitment and marketing activities related to healthcare programmes. You will also work closely with colleagues within the Institute of Health to contribute to plans for future growth.
